Meet the Parkshore Staff

The staff are an important part of making the building a great place to live. Each staff member
has a unique background and life away from Parkshore Plaza. Here is a little about each staff member..

Linda Morgan  - Community Association Manager - Linda was born in Rochester Minnesota and moved to the Windy City of Chicago in 1978 where she started her Property Management career. 

Linda's husband John sold his construction business in 2002 and they moved to Marco Island to enjoy the warm weather. Linda worked for the largest mixed use developer in Naples and managed six properties.

We convinced Linda to move to the Tampa Bay area to manage Parkshore Plaza. Linda enjoys reading, watching vintage movies, and lounging around the pool.

Rick Watkins - Chief Engineer - Rick was born in Monroe North Carolina and moved to Saint Petersburg in 1973. Rick and his wife Brenda live in Northwest Saint Petersburg, they have two children and four grandchildren.

Rick spent 28 years as Facilities Manager at Precise Technologies. He has a wealth of experience in complex systems and a solid background in electronics, HVAC. One thing for sure Rick knows this building better than anyone else.

Rick and Brenda enjoy traveling in their motor home and visit as many AAU Baseball games they can to watch the two grandsons.
In his time off Rick enjoys Golf, camping and youth baseball.

Lee Weiss - Head Concierge - Lee was born in Tacoma, Washington and moved to the Tampa area upon being stationed at Macdill AFB. He is married to his loving wife Heather and they have two boys ages 13 and 6 years old. Lee is very active in the VFW, Moose, and the American Legion Lodges where he likes to play pool and especially is into darts and is trying to become pro certified in the sport. Lee has been a concierge for almost 15 years and has worked for other Luxury high rises and with the Hyatt Hotel chains. Besides his children, Lee says his biggest accomplishment in life is that he has been able to grow and donate his hair 10 times to the Locks of Love foundation for cancer patients

Vincent - Concierge - Born in Tampa, Florida and raised in Tampa and St. Petersburg. Vincent went to high school at the old Jesuit High School behind Sacred Heart Cathedral. After doing four years in the navy, Vincent entered the job market in Chicago. While working with Dealers Transit and Beatrice Foods, he found time to get married and raise two boys and a girl. Vincent had  a small farm in Madison, Florida. After everyone left home for school and careers, Vincent gravitated to Tampa Bay once again. A few years working in Tampa proved too dull for me, so Vincent moved to Guadalajara, Mexico, working for various companies in Mexico, Peru and Chile. By the year 2000, he had enough and returned to the U.S. and retired. He now enjoy visits from three grandsons and their parents. sailing, reading, cooking and a good cigar.

Leon - Concierge - Meet Leon, does he resemble anyone else on the staff ? Well take a close look Leon is Vincent's brother. Since Vincent could not take working full time he had to recruit his brother to split his shift. Leon will be relieving vacation and sick days for other concierge as was as working two days a week. Ask Leon about his weight lifting activities, you will be very surprised.

David Martino - Maintenance Technician - David was born in Fairmont, West by god Virginia. After graduating high school David went to work for Owens Illinois, after working there for 11 years all it took was a vacation to Florida and fell in love with the warm sunshine.

David made the decision to leave his family behind and move here in 1987. Within a few years he met the love of his life Jerrie. In 1990 they were married and could not be happier. David started working for Rampart in 1994, prior to Parkshore David was responsible for maintenance at Mirror Lake Condominium. David enjoys Fishing, Golf and grooming his signature, mustache.

Mary Belus - Housekeeping - Mary was born in Canton Ohio and moved to Florida in 1990. Her husband Dennis works for Florida Blood Services and is the Pastor at Trinity Church of Nazarene in Gulfport.

Together they have 6 children and 15 grandchildren, WOW can you imagine Thanksgiving dinner. In her off time Mary enjoys camping, hiking, and craft shows.

Mary always has a smile on her face and a nice word for everyone.

Linda Young Housekeeping - Linda is a mother of 3 children and a grandmother of 5. A native New Yorker. I’ve been employed with Professional Cleaners for 7 years and transferred from Bacopa Bay. I am a volunteer for the Tampa Bay Liver Disease Support Group. I like doing crafts, music and eating out.

Alex Skelton - Maintenance - Alex moved to Florida in 1999 from Buffalo New York (he is no fool considering the winters in Buffalo) Alex lives in Kenneth City with his wife Cheryl, they have three children and 12 grandchildren.

When off duty Alex enjoys playing golf and watching Baseball and Hockey.

Born in Warrenton, Virginia in 1971.  Marcus was his Junior High School Class President and Valedictorian.  He received a full Art Scholarship to Bennington College in Vermont. In the 1990’s moved to Alaska for 3 years exploring, meeting native wildlife such as bears and eagles, mountain climbing, and hiking while being a baker on land and a commercial fisherman. Deciding that the cold was enough Marcus moved to Florida 13 years ago. For 5 years as a carpenter in the Palm Beach area. Marcus switched from carpentry work to security in several Palm Beach locations before movinf to the Bat area. He looks forward to working here permanently at Parkshore Plaza and the friendly community within.
 

William "Bill" Ryan - Bill is originally from central New York and moved to Florida in 1978. Bill worked for AAA Travel in the downtown area for 16 years. A top million dollar seller for 13 years, Bill never missed a day of work in 16 years at AAA.

Bill has extensive knowledge of foreign and domestic travel, airline reservations, train reservations, buses, cruises, car rentals, hotels and resorts, restaurants and the local downtown area itself. Bill has two sisters; one lives in Florida and another sister and brother-in-law who live in Remsen, New York. 

Bill has a brother and sister-in-law and a niece who is 9 who live in Pennsylvania.
